This was the rainbow that greeted me on this very cold morningI love the colours of the rainbow
My Scrapbooking Retreat was wonderful I felt so refreshed when I came home Things had been getting on top of me a bit
I completed a whole album over the weekend
I did an album of Lorraines wedding I am very pleased with my weekends work

Lorraine has been very unwell I dont think the Doctors know what to do with her
Mum is well
She is now at home by herself and managing just fine The District nurse is coming every second day to dress the pressure sores on her heels
It has been perfect weather for sewing ,not that I have done much
Stitched a few siggy blocks and thats about it
I have to get on with the Draught horse quilt Grandsons birthday is approaching fast
Off to football in the morning to watch the boys play Will have to rug up
I am so happy to read you achieved much at your retreat and that you feel refreshed-you deserve it-sorry to hear Lorraine is not the best...good to hear your mUm is on the mend..take care,hope you get some sewing in on the weekend...cheers Vikcie
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you had a lovely retreat!~I've not taken up scrapbooking but have seen many lovely book ladies have made. I can only imagine with your creativity what a beautiful keepsake you have made. Great news on your grandson's poem and lovely placemats also! :)

It is really nice to get away for retreats once in a while. I guess we get more done there because of less distractions from our everyday lives.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear that Lorraine is not doing well right now...I will be lifting her up in prayer. But it is good to hear that your mom is doing much better!
