sunset/more pressies

This was the sky at our place last night
I thought we were in for a really hot day today but I'm pleased to say its not to bad
I don't like the heat
I got my swap presents from Jane
She is a fairly new quilter Her work is just beautiful
I just love what she has made for me
I got this divine wall hanging with a matching bag and pin cushion
Also two of her little lavender bags
And lastly stamps for hubby who collects them, so he will be pleased when he comes in tonight
He is busy doing hay at the moment
I haven't had much to write about lately, though I have been keeping busy, just nothing exciting enough to share
Getting a bit done in the garden

Stitchers Angel Gifts

My gifts from my Stitchers Angel arrived today
My favourite colours
I got a beautifully stitched wall hanging with the saying "what happens at grandmas stays at grandmas"
Very true
Also there was the cutest little pincushion with lovely roses embriodered on top and a little roll up pouch for my sewing accessories
And lastly chocolate
I love them all
Thankyou so much Tara
Take a look at her blog justbergieboyz.blogspot.com
Hubby is feeling quite well after his angiogram of last week
Lorraine is not doing so well
Results of her scans were both good and bad
The mass on the brain has shrunk a tiny bit The ones on the lung remain the same
The bad news is that they found a small growth on the spine
She kinda new it was there
She started oral chemo last Monday

THE SMILES TELL THE STORY

More photos

SHARING A FEW MORE WEDDING PHOTOS
I gave my camera to my 15 year old nephew and told him to take a few photos
He took over 350 I promise I wont bore you with them all but will share a few over the next few days
We got home from Melbourne late this afternoon Hubby had his angiogram yesterday and stayed in Hospital overnight
They found one blockage in one artrie which is why he had been so breathless this past month
They put a stent in and think he will be ok
He has a family history of heart problems and apart from high blood pressure no other contributing factors
He has to take it easy for a couple of weeks
I'm guessing I will be doing a lot of nagging in that time
Lorraine went to Peter Mac today for scans and MRI's
She will have results on Friday They are looking to see if the radiation has done its job and if it has spread anywhere else
Looking at her its hard to believe she is so ill

It Never Rains but it Pours

I see this is my 100th post and I,m afraid its going to pass without any celebrations
I have really enjoyed creating and writing this blog and I have made so many wonderful new friends
Lorraine is still battling along
Wedding preparations are up to date and now Hubby has thrown a spanner in the works
He has been having some chest pain and last week had to go to Melbourne for a stress test which showed up some blockages
Now he has to go back to Melbourne tomorrow for an angiogram on Thursday and overnight hospital stay
Hopefully home Friday and fit for the wedding Saturday
I tell you those two will be the death of me
