Motor bike quilt

I have a little time before Iam off to school for the Kitchen class with my grandson
As I haven't had many finishes lately I decided to show one of my earlier quilts
I have been working on christmas presents so haven't been entirely idle
I made this quilt for my eldest grandson who is motor bike mad as is the younger one
I found an old doona cover at the op shop which I used for the centre panel and the backing was also a doona cover with BMX bikes on it
Not entirely recycled as I purchased the fabric for the borders
My nephew has a similar one I made for him
Iam pleased to say at ages 15 and 16 they still use themPosted by Picasa
It is a beautiful winters day here today I really should be in the garden Never mind, the weeds will still be there tomorrow...............and the next day ...................... and the day after that....................

  6. Hello Illene,What a great idea re-using the quilt covers, they never wear out do they. Weeds are only plants in the wrong place!!! Hope you manage to get some pulled out. Happy days.
