I have been a bit slack in posting photo's of the lovely gifts I received from Fiona of Bubzrugz in the Initial Valentines day swap
My Initial heart is lovely and made with felt and smells divine
I have never done much with felt, but seeing what Fiona has made makes me feel like I should give it a try
The choccies are well and truly gone and the felt flower brooch has found a home on my winter coat
This was a fun swap I made three new friends and received lovely gifts as well
What more could a person ask for?
I made a couple of new "envelopes" for my precious cards
Just trying to find the right button for the second one
My friend O'faigh sent a tin of coloured strips for Christmas and I have used them to make the envelope with the narrow strips
Well pleased with both
Shame about the quality of the photo!!
What a lovely heart to receive and those yummy chockies :) I love the "envelopes", especially the one on the left
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea for your cards. Some are so special and it is hard to know what to do with them. This is a great idea. Your heart is lovely too. Hope all is well with you. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGood Afternoon Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous share. I love seeing your heart goodies. Aren't swaps just the best fun?
Your envelopes that you made for your cards are exquisite. How beautifully they are pieced together. I love seeing them. I can't wait to see what type of button you add to the pink one. It reminds me of an oriental kimona. I think it should have a pretty tassel.
Thanks for sharing sweet friend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry
A fabric envelope to hold your treasured cards - what a great idea. Another of yours I will pinch. Also the little felt heart - I showed my grand-daughter and suggested she could make something like that for her mother's birthday next month. Of course, she could change her mind 10 times between now and then but I think it would make a wonderful gift.
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric envelopes! They're so pretty! :0)
