Still some what stiff and a few bruises but getting there

FNSI April

Another FNSI with Wendy over at Sugarlane Quilts has come and gone
Where does the time go?
I made myself a little storage box
Actually not that little I used precut 10" squares Will definitely be making more of these
Feeling a bit sore and sorry for myself tonight
Our new puppy pulled some rope down off the caravan and I got my foot caught up in it and went down like a ton of bricks
Luckily I didn't fall on my new knee Could have been a problem then
My other knee is sore though and my backside is bruised
I asked my specialist after my Op what I was allowed to do He said No running No jumping and No falling over

Lead Lighting

My friend Mary does the most magnificent lead lighting
I have always admired it
Last week I was lucky enough to have her give me a lesson and this is what I came home with
It is very special and I love it
It now has pride of place in my dining room window

Looking forward to my next creation though I don't think it will replace my patchwork

Last night it was time for another FNSI when I joined with Cheryl and friends for an evening of sewing
I decided it was time to start putting my "Lasting Legacy" blocks together, after putting it off for some time
