Last fat 1/4

The last of my fat 1/4s in the Birthday swap has arrived
Well worth the wait

I was very spoilt for my birthday
And a BIG thankyou to Cheryll for organizing Iam sure a lot of time goes into these swaps

Some months ago the girls in my quilting group all made a couple of blocks for a charity quilt The only stipulation was it had to be 12 inches square
No one put their hand up to quilt it so Maureen and I travelled to the next town where they have a long arm quilt machine at the Community House
We had a great time playing around with it and were pretty happy with the finished result

I will probably end up doing the binding

At a cost of $16 I think I will be using this machine again sometime

Just been playing around and Yippee I managed to get my little owl to stand the right way

I have recently finished this runner

Very pleased with it, though I just noticed I put  one heart in side ways

Did you  know that the Amish  make a mistake in a quilt on purpose because only God is perfect

Believe me I do not have to do it on purpose

Sorry you have to screw your neck to see him but I cannot get him to turn

I have just had a lovely birthday weekend
Celebrated with my lovely family
Well actually I have had a lovely birthday month
My fat 1/4s have been coming in since the beginning of the month
