Summer Mini for Maria

My summer mini has arrived at Maria of the The Next Stage Blog
Thankfully she is happy with it
I was discussing the mini with my sister and she suggested I make a bikini
That night the old song Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka dot bikini popped into my head and wouldn't go away
The next morning I heard that song on the radio I had not heard it for years
So that was it I set to work and made a bikini mini

A little while later Travelling Treasures arrived at my house and in it was the perfect bikini fabric
Some reverse sewing took place and this is the mini I sent to Maria

FNSI and Presentation Ball

I joined Wendy and the girls early last night and put this coat hanger together
The stitching was already done
Thanks Wendy for the invite

Then it was off to my grandsons Presentation Ball... Deb ... we used to call them

Anthony looked so handsome. His partner wasn't bad either

Shame there are extra people in the background looking like they are supposed to be part of our little family

The last of my birthday fat 1/4s arrived yesterday

It was certainly worth the wait

I made a mini for friends 50th wedding anniversary
The heart and birds were taken from a Michelle Ridgway pattern
Cold and drizzle here today so more stitching time for me
Yippee

Another Friday Night With Friends

I had the three blocks completed so last night when I joined Cheryll and the girls for a sewing night I put them together
Some simple quilting and binding and another one done for the present box
Thanks again to the wonderful Cheryll for organizing
Taking the dog for a walk in the beautiful sunshine then some time in the garden today
That is the plan any way

Travelling Treasures is ready to move on

Travelling Treasures arrived at my place

I put in a complete cross stitch kit and a fat 1/4

I took out a fat that I have ause for, some buttons and thredTwo more birthday gifts came today From the lovely Tracee

And the gorgeous Michelle

One more still to come so my birthday will continue for a while
