Nurses bags for FNSI

Patchwork and Stitching magazine are holding a charity drive and are asking readers to make little nurses bags for nurses in third world countries
.
So last night along with the lovely Wendy and friends I whipped up a few
I would make some more but am having trouble sourcing what the magazine calls twill tape and the lady at my local shop calls herringbone tape
I tried the internet with little success and it is really quite expensive at my shop
Probably not looking in the right place on the internet
Not real cluey at Internet shopping
Must be my lucky week because Iam to be the lucky recipient of one of the lovely random acts of kindness gifts from the lovely Shez and just heard from Lisa that Travelling treasures will be coming my way
Show you when they get here

Those bags are looking lovely. Perhaps if you contact the mag they may be able to head you in the right direction.

Great nights work the bags look lovely. Try typing in "twill tape "and then click images at least you can then see what it looks like hope this helps you.

A worthwhile way to spend your Friday night, Illene. Hope you can find some more tape. Lucky you with the winnings - sounds like you need to camp by the mailbox!

Marvellous wins :) Can't help with the twill tape it I found it tough to source some time ago myself (for another project). So wonderful of you to give these bags, hope you manage to find the requirements soon :)

I just found out about Travelling Treasures too, so congratulations from me :) I buy the tape at Lincraft. It is hanging up near the ribbon section in my store. (it is often used for labels in clothing too). xx debbie
