FNSI

Last night the lovely Wendy was our host for another night of stitching with friends
I started work on this applique
A Jennidee Mills design from Patchwork and Stitching
Unfortunately my appliflex wouldn't stick so I ended up tacking the pieces down
Not ideal and made the lovely project less pleasurable
Over the weekend I will drop by to see what the rest of you got up to

  4. I know how you feel...I sewed 3 snaps onto some VERY delicate fabric, and only 1 of the 3 would actually snap!! I was so nervous about damaging the fabric when I had to remove them and use a different brand. Pain going back to return them too but all sorted now! xx debbie

  5. I love that elephant applique, Illene :-) I've had pieces come unstuck too and it's very annoying! I wonder why that happens occasionally?

  6. Drat! it does happen sometimes doesn't it?? wonder why?? I have more of a problem when the backing comes away from the paper before I've ironed it - or the paper wont come off after I have ironed it.
But a cute elephant at the end.
