A Wall Hanging For Danielle

I havent made much of a start on Christmas shopping or gifts as yet
I made this wall hanging for Dan She has a few badges These ones were on her Pop's hanger so she has been wanting her own
My Darling daughters health has been causing us much concern
The chemo doesn't seem to be working and her breathing is getting worse
Has been having her lung drained almost weekly and last week they made a tiny hole in the lung which has allowed air to enter and caused more breathlesness
They are now thinking of putting in a permanant drain but there are risks involved so she has to have a good think about what to do
While her hubby is at work I spend a lot of time with her
Sometimes I get really upset with the unfairness of it all I have a friend whose daughter has drunk and smoked herself into bad health
Lorraine has never smoked or drank
Just seems so unfair

Oh....I am soooo sad, it doesn't seem fair at all. I know this must be so hard on you to have to sit back and watch as your daughter suffers. I wish there was something I could say or do to help ease your burden.

The quilt is lovely!

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. When I was a Hospice volunter I always found that being able to spend as much time as you can well there not well means so much to them. An this is what your able to do and how wonderful for you both. Your will both be in my prayers and hope things get better.

Dearest Illene, I am so very sad to hear that Lorraine's health is getting worse. I agree that it seems so unfair when there are others about that have not given a thought to their health and have taken it for granted. I am glad that you are able to spend so much time with her now...I'm sure that just your presence is such a comfort to her. You both have been constantly in my prayers and I will keep on praying for you daily!

Much love,

Cyndi
