A CRAFT DAY WITH FRIENDS

About once a month a group of friends and myself get together for a craft day
Usually we make cards because that is what most of my friends prefer to do
However last Saturday we made boxes using cardboard and material
They turned out really nicely and well worth the extra effort
My Mum has gone away for a holiday with her sister She is doing really well Only the pressure sores on her heels are giving her trouble
Lorraine has not been well Has been having to have her lung drained every four or five days
Not a very pleasant procedure
The Doctors have now decided to glue the lung to stop the fluid build up
Aparently not a pleasant operation either but necessary
She will have to stay in Hospital in Melbourne for a little while
She is booked in for Thursday the 22nd
Please pray for her

  4. That box is so cool - I love it! Those would make really sweet gifts with a little something extra tucked iside...or a nice little sewing box for small things.

So happy to hear your mom is doing so well, but I am sorry that Lorraine is having so much trouble. I will most definitely keep her in my prayers, especially on the 22nd when she has her operation!

    XOXO,

  5. Good Morning Sweetie...
What a beautiful share today. I love the boxes. Did you buy them pre made and then cover them, or did you make them from scratch? They are just beautiful. Please do a tutorial and share the step process. I would so love to try one.

I am thrilled to hear about you sweet Mom. I will pray for Lorraine. I will be holding her up in prayer on the 22nd especially.

Have a beautiful day sweet friend. Country hugs...Sherry
