A QUILT FOR MY SISTER

I made this quilt last year for my sisters birthday Posted by PicasaHer birthday is next Friday No handmade gifts this year

It has been really cold here today The grandchildren have been watching movies and I was sewing the binding on some Christmas presents when some old friends dropped in for a visit which was lovely

My chooks are laying well at the moment so I think we will have quiche and salad for tea but Anthony says he's allergic to quiche ( I think he means he doesn't like it)

  1. I love this little quilt. Your sister must have been so happy to receive it. We don't always have a lot of time to make handmade gifts for others. But that's okay. She has that quilt that you put your heart into last year. I'm sure she will cherish it forever.

  3. What a sweet quilt! Sometimes it's hard to do the handmade thing, isn't it. My family tends to expect it, but I can't always get it done or find the motivation. We all had eggs for lunch here. I made what I call egg slop. You take a few potates (hashbrowns) throw in whatever leftovers sound good and then mix in some eggs. Fry it all up, top with cheese and...yum! Obviously, it never turns out the same way twice, but I have yet to make it bad! Good stuff!
